The leather restorer and I navigated the inside door panels today. Really not to bad. The chrome interior lock slide unscrews, there are two phillips screws in aft edge of door, 2 in leading edge of door (over the hinge-you'll need a ratchet side drive screw driver too get them out). To get at these you'll need to take the under dash lip filler pieces out, couple of phillips heads as well. The inside door handles unscrew easily and the slide the inside door unlock lever black plastic trim (can't recall whether it slid fore or aft) to release the panel there. As you might suspect you have an aluminum panel with leather trim in your hand.Bottom compartments ( for maps and such) can be taken off with a few screws, we left them on. As was posted earlier, the dash comes away after screws in underside are removed as well as some in side of lower portion going into tunnel. As soon as I figure out the picture attachment decoder, I'll post some pictures. Jim

All, On my Mark IV, I've speedo, ammeter and one other gauge light out. With wide hands and stubbly fingers, replacement of even speedo bulb is impossible. Has anyone found a way to accopmlish this? The smaller gauges are a real mystery..I don't see taking the dash apart. Thanks, Jim

Trevor,
My wife made me a gift of this incredible 2006 tomb (sp) this evening for Christmas. I'm sure it will be well loved in this household and the world over. The pictures alone are magnificent, the story and text even better. This should start some interesting discussions on various sites. Congratulations!!!

While out for a run to warm the oil this afternoon, my spouse and i came upon another "bitten one" here in coastal NJ. After a conversation, I passed my business to him via my wife, he looked at it and started reaching in his pocket for his...having a little trouble, he opened the door of his automatic BDR (I believe it was a BDR)and as I said "don't get out, just email...."  he said "I can't get out ...I'm wheelchair bound"  Sure enough, this incredible guy was running this 450 hp car on hand controls. This is after he's been telling me the car, when it was blown, turned in the low 12's @ 128 MPH. We followed him for about 5 or so miles, the two of us generally making noise and having a goood time til we turned off and headed for home. What a neat gentleman he is and a true "bitten one"

Good morning, Does anyone know where B.A. sourced the headrests for the MK IV's? I've heard Honda, but cannot ascertain year or model. perhaps someone can look on the vertical posts of the headrest for a part number? Or does anyone have an extra set or wish to sell theirs? Thanks Jim

Good morning, Does anyone out there know where B.A. sourced the headrests? I've heard they are Honda parts, but cannot find year and model or a part number. Can any one assist? There may be a part number on the vertical bars. Alternatively, does anyone have a spare pair or want to sell theirs? Thanks, Jim
