I guess they didn't survive the rebuild of the Forum - apologies but not much I can do.

Hi Jim,
Sorry for the late response. The pieces of wood on the runners are only fitted on the outer (door) sides. This was for pinning in place the carpet side pieces on the seat. The tunnel sides seems to have done without.
Regards, Luke.

Thanks for every ones help. I'm good to go now.
One last question. I assume there should be a piece of wood above both sides of the upper seat tracks. Presently I have only on one side.

The Register doesn't shed any light on this question. There are four cars, AK2000 / AK2001 / AK2002 / AK2003, all LHD, two for US and two for Germany. AK2000 shows 1993 build date, AK2001 shows 1995 build date, AK2002 shows 1994 build date and AK2003 shows 1995 build date. The cars with AK numbers starting with AK1xxx run either side of these four build dates making it even more confusing.

Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / Help sourcing a couple of spar...
Last post by Salmo - August 15, 2024, 21:54:52
Hi,

I need the following spare parts (if available) for my Bristol 100/D2 engine:

The retaining nut that holds the blanking plate on to the rocker cover.
The tube which the air correction jet screws inside that holds the emulsifier tube inside the Solex Carb (B32 PBI).

Any help on sourcing these would be very much appreciated.

Thanks - Chris

And on another note, I will be running 16/80 Sloping Tail Competition Sports, chassis 593L, in the Pebble Beach Tour D'Elegance on Thursday 8/15, and showing it in the Pre-War European Class at the Concours on Sunday.  Quite chuffed about all that!
