In hindsight, maybe the European and UK contingent is relieved they did not ship their priceless cars over to the US for the USA international...

Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / Webers

I'm not sure that I would agree with that notion. I have DCOE's on a 260 engine and on a Kent Crossflow and don't have that experience. I find the webers tune well and rather easily. They are not just a carb for wide open top end power. It's no big deal. The engine is running very happily on the Su's. I was just curious to see if someone had gone through the trouble of making a manifold. Thanks for the reply.

Peter, you've come a long way in 2 years! What a job! I was just looking at the fit of your headers. If you decide to use a heat wrapping, consider some additional space. This stuff works great in keeping the engine bay cooler, but is adds thickness to the pipe diameter.

This thread made me think to fit an overdrive to my Aceca. AC engine, moss box. Would I fit a J-type overdrive?

Does anybody have any experience doing this?

Changing the forum format and having greater ease of posting would be VERY welcome and likely encourage more use.

The facebook format of "liking" comments and easily tagging onto a discussion or posting photos is definitely nice!

Looks like a fabulous trip. I rode my motorcycle through that area about 26 years ago! It was great then. Would be great fun in an AC!

great photos. And, unlike many posts, finally plenty of photos of the crowd, not just cars!

   Keep posting!

None.

Quota are not being met. We need a minimum 10 commitments. Don't have more than 4. so, if there is a sudden spike in interest, I'll get on it.

Just don't use the mcLeod throwout bearing... I replaced two and went back to the mechanical linkage. Maybe they got better in the past 5 years, but there were some serious problems with the seals.

Peter,

The headers arrived in Holland. A bit of bad info: My mother got taxed for them... 85 Euro... [:(!][:(!][:(!]
