Well done Keith.
Great to see there are still one ACOC members who has a MSA National B or National A Licence to compete. Have we no Mk IV Cobra Licence Holder's? Where are the younger members of our Club. Sarah & I attended the last Historic Lotus Register dinner held earlier this year for the Lotus Elite 60th Anniversary and we were nearly the youngest there!!! Can't we generate a spark of enthusiasm or support for our only remaining competative Club event?

More ACOC members are needed to participate and support the ACOC Clubman Sprint. Are there any ACOC members who need assistance? Will any members contact Bruce Claassen who are thinking of entering and supporting the ACOC Clubman Sprint event to be held on Saturday 4 November at the former Classic Goodwood Grand Prix Circuit. Every entry will help this event succeed. Encouragement for additional competitors outside of ACOC can always join ACOC to participate at such a world class venue.

Has the younger element of the ACOC membership no interest in such a fantastic sporting and competitive event opportunities?

What remaining Classic Grand Prix Circuits allow you drive in a Club Sprint event on a Saturday where the world's greatest drivers have battled.

These opportunities should be grasped with both hands.

Please plan to join the entry in any car or even consider using your modern fast road car to enjoy our Clubs only remaining competative event.

We are looking forward to another superbly organised great Sprint day driving this fantastic historic Goodwood Circuit venue. Come see what fun we all have and watch the proceedings and excitement build on the day.
See you there Sarah & Malcolm [:D]

Thank you for all your support. ACOC brolly came in handy to keep Mighty Mouse out of the rain until it was his turn to turn on his charm which he did by dancing all over the track to find enough grip to win the Glover #127942; Trophy.
   Still floating on a cloud.

It would be great to have our AC Owners' Club Superblower Register up to date.
Most auction houses are comedians as they never seem to be factually correct.
Power output is totally understated so the auction house has missed another important fact but there again they have probably only just learnt how to cut and past rather than report true facts!!!

It will be interesting to see it sold so it can be used rather than left in storage.
May be we will see it competing or spectating at the ACOC Clubman Sprint at Goodwood Circuit on Saturday 4th November 2017.

Hi SB7019,

We are already at Goodwood. We have a brolley with us in case it rains. It should make it more interesting for practise on Friday, Saturday will be clear and Sunday a few light showers. Looking forward to the 1960s GP Cars in the Glover Trophy on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully more interesting than the modern day F1.

Those not going can at least pick up live coverage of all the practise & racing for Friday, Saturday & Sunday on Goodwood Live on the Internet. All the cars and the famous British Spitfires, Hurricanes and hopefully the Lancaster with outstanding commentary by Chris Drewett from the early hours each morning till about 6pm.

David Beales was first to calll at 12.21 and as the longest ACOC member I am delighted these tickets will be enjoyed.

The day started with a blue sky and a damp track which soon dried out as usual, but sadly the temperature did not push beyond 10 degrees.
Superbly organised as usual thanks to Bruce and his ACOC team of helpers.
Apologises from Sarah for not competing due to her knee operation."

I hope our ACOC council will look much harder at ways of improving the our turn out of participating AC cars.

Would there be enough interest from other ACOC members and invited clubs to take a track day at Goodwood the day before the Clubman Sprint?

Well where is all the AC Owners' Club event support from all those AC owners in the southern counties? No doubt they are all stuck in the garage and never used unless they can afford a Kirkham replica to race???

   See you on Saturday

Thank you for possible sources for bushes.
It looks like I also need to replace rose joints? Might as well replace them whilst doing the bushes.
Does anyone know where the best quality rose joints are available off the shelf or next day delivery because I am due to be at Castle Coombe for a charity day 15th October?

Let's hope we can muster up a greater AC contingency this year.

You can count on our two entries.

Thanks for all your hard work in organising this great event.

The ACOC private drive of the Nurburgring Nordschleife Circuit was the big highlight of the ACOC Luxembourg International.

Many thanks to Constant and his team for making this such a special International.

Bruce,

Looking forward to another great sprint at Goodwood.

Let's hope we will see a better turn out of AC cars and drivers. It is such a great event to blow a few cobwebs out.

You will have our full support.
