Dress code comin' up - brace yourself....

Mark IV

Trevor,

Are you suggesting that MK IV owners will be required to be photographed in checkered "banana hammocks"????

Geez, now I gotta spend the rest of the day trying to get that image out of my mind.................

Oh Rick, I really wish you hadn't said that.
And anyway, it wouldn't leave enough space for the sponsor's logos[:D]

As you might have anticipated, I have some suggestions realizing that topic is changing to dress code.

   It comes from Buffims:

The suggestions will come up soon as quiz!

Sorry, Buffums, not Buffims. Doesn´t matter anyway. Chapter 11 ...

O.k. Question number one:

Who is the Top Model in the correct sports man outfit?

Note the checkered flag (the main topic is always mandatory to me!!!)!

The right answer will be rewarded with the next question, which concerns the correct female outfit! Of course the next question will be related to a more exciting picture!

My guess would be Daniel Sexton Gurney from Port Jefferson, Long Island,

The "real American hero" DSG did it all; Indycar, F1, sportscars, endurance, sedans and NASCAR!! And he won in all of them! Plus his efforts at building cars for himself and his teams right up to the last "AAR Eagle/Toyota" Indycar which while not a great sucess, was one of the prettiest cars in the field.

His "Alligator" motorcycles and other projects keep him busy to this day. He always has time to sign stuff and great unanounced vistors in Santa Ana. A lot of current "drivers" could learn a lot about public relations and who really generates the money that racers get.

Damn, where do I get me one of them fine Buffum jackets for the 60th shindig? I'm a Man on the Move as well (though maybe that's related to a dodgy vindaloo...)

Well done, my dear Cobra friends! It is Dan Gurney! (Besides, if you count the posts made to the checkered topic, you will notice that it really is the main topic!)

O.k.! As promised, question number two:

What is the location of the photo session[?] The correct answer is not "paint shop". The question is: Whose paint shop is it?[:D]

This question is a little bit more difficult. If you don´t get it, i´ll add some more pictures with additional informations.

Don´t forget to show the pictures to your wife, we are still talking about correct Cobro driver´s wife dress code![B)]

Please not the details. It is still the black and white theme!!!

Gratulation, you´ve been the only one who was brave and tried an answer! Unfortunately you´re wrong.

That´s why I add some blue to it (still from the same catalogue)! Even this picture would fit to the Brooklands Industrial Park! But it´s another location!

Who about you "experts"! Here is the chance to make a complete fool of yourself! This is last but one chance to vote right! (I wouldn´t, because the last picture is even hotter![:)]

Begging for another clue here...what`s the year? If fathers` day was Sunday, June 19th, it could be `66, `77 or `83, and I`d guess `77, but who would have that many bodies stacked in `77?????
What was the address of Brian Angliss` 'Cobra Parts'(pre-Autokraft)? Chessington, somewhere!
Am I close? I suspect not, guessing it`s in the U.S somewhere..(Maybe 'Cobra Performance' of Sacremento, California?)

Aha...They must be Shelby`s 'LOST' chassis` that turned up later...(or not, as the case may be![B)])
