Hi Mark-Anthony,
   A good idea although I may not take you up on your offer, I may come along and support. However, I have done a number of track days in previous cars and can strongly recommend that any participant take out track day insurance, the peace of mind it provides will allow everyone to get the most from the day. A friend recently did a track day in his TVR at Goodwood, he had a spin, smacked the barrier and £15,000 later he now has his car back from the garage! For approx £125-150 you should be able to get reasonable cover for bodywork and major mechanical damage.

   Many thanks for the tip.  I'll certainly be taking out insurance - I'll check with Bertie to see if he can provide the same.

   If you go ahead with track day, dont forget to put an advert in Action.
   We have arranged three 'ME Owners Meeting' over the past 18 months and they are very well received by all concerned.
