Creative Workshop

Hi

My name is Joe, I am the parts specialist at The Creative Workshop. We have a 1962 AC Ace here that I am looking for some info on. Does anyone know where I could source some shop manuals or books on this car? I am also looking for original color info, such as availible color combos of paint and interior trim.

Right now, I am also looking for a set of original AC Ace seats in good condition, if anyone on here has a set they would like to sell please contact me. Thanks for you time.

Hi Joe,
There are some engine/transmission manuals around that deal with those parts specifically, but there is not much in the way of a comprehensive, all inclusive manual like you would find for mass produced cars. What engine did the car come with and it that what you need parts for or is for the body?
When starting to put my car back together after it was taken apart by the previous owner, I found that I had to purchase books that had different pictures of cars so I could understand how it was supposed to go back together. One of the better books for showing what went where is Rinsey Mill's Original AC ace and Cobra and it also has good info on colors and color combinations. I believe it is out of print however, so you may have to look to find it. As for seats, I looked for a couple of years before I found a pair, but you can have them made from scratch by David Sanderson in the UK. As for other parts sourcing, Ron Leonard of Sport and GT in Durango, Col (970 259-0108)is the best I have found for Ace specific parts.
