This has more involved than your usual AC for sale.  Good looking, though.

Is it the arches, or is it on 13" wheels?
Seems a tad expensive, will watch with interest.

Like many of the Aces which were exported to Venezuela, they hard a very hard life both on road and track, with many eventually ending their competitive life on the drag strip.

The rear arches on AEX1083 have been cut to give clearance to the fitting of a  different  back axel and to  accommodate suitable large boots. However you are right the wheels fitted
at present are in fact 13 inch which makes the arches look even larger.

Tim Isles series of articles  in back issues of ACtion and the two features in ACtion relating to BEX148 and BEX350 support the above statement.

Being privy to the condition of Tim's Last three / four Ace Projects imported from Venezuela,
(BEX148, BEX335, BEX350 &  Nigel Winchester's AEX95) . all had succumb the same knife prior to being saved , brought back to the UK and restored to live again for
enjoyment on both road and Track..[^]

Nik,   I will email a pic or two of AEX1083 as she was back in 2008.[;)]

I am sure there was an earlier topic about this car.

It seems there were pictures before which are not showing now. I just checked my Photobucket account last week and it is still working. I also I checked another picture (a bit more recent) which was still showing in the relevant topic on the forum.

Spot On,  I have same photos which I downloaded in 2008.

Hopefully , we The ACOC can do something in the near future to save loosing hundreds of photos from various threads on our Forum.
Photo Bucket have caused major disruption and loss to many Forums and are now holding many to ransom. Lets hope a solution is found and PhotoBucket loose majority of accounts.

Jerry,  Thank you for posting the earlier pics of AEX1083.[;)]
