Look at this nice Aceca at Hexagon:

but they ask for £195.000 [:0]

   Have I missed something?

Its clearly a popular price point, as for exactly the same £ you can have:

As AE1170 was sold at Bonhams 2 months ago for £141.5k, its an interesting dealer mark up!

In the current Classic Car pricing frenzy, nothing should surprise....

It was a bargain at Bonham's, IMO. For market is probably somewhere between the 2 prices.

I tend to think that most classic car dealers stand by the same motto as the SAS, Who Dares Wins. [:)]

A few months ago I sold an original Bristol engine Aceca (never restored but well maintained) with about 54,000 miles for $195,000.00 - of course that included a commission.  It went from the US to France.  I thought that was a pretty good number. Would think the Bristol engines go for a little more than the Ace.

Apols this is way off topic all, but been really impressed by your past efforts Cargirl as I've always liked the Ace, Aceca and Greyhound down the years and follow this forum a lot. However is there any chance you could possibly include the AC 428 in your daily activities as well, as although there were only 80 made info from over the pond about them and their whereabouts is now practically non-existent and has been for ages.

As for current values I've no idea at all nowadays....

   Thanks

Cargirl

Paul,

Clarify what you mean by including the Ac Frua in daily activities...

And yes we are off topic so we should probably go over to the AC 428 thread eventually.

Hi Kelly

Topic now transferred to AC 428 forum, apologies to all again....

   Thanks [:)]
