Which MkIV starred in MacGyver movie (1994) ?

Does anyone know which Autokraft MkIV Cobra starred in the 1994 TV movie, MacGyver: Trail to Doomsday?  Could it be AK1271?
   
   As you can see in the photo (hotlinked from imcdb.org) and the movie clip below, this particular car is red with a black interior, RHD, has a roll bar but no hood scoop, frame mounted side mirror, and is registered K36 XPH.

AK 1271 was built with 16" wheels and would probably carried an F or G registration prefix. This car has the special order 15" wheels. Also the instrument bezels are black not chrome.  My car is AK 1500  ('93) and bezels are chrome, but has the same 3 wiper set up, which was originally matt black. I guess it's one of the unlisted specifications.

So that must mean that the K plate on the car is a made up one for the film, as you can't make a car appear newer than it is, OR, it's not AK1271.
