Guys, most all centrifigal supercharger manufacturers (Novi,Paxton, etc) offer one for a 5.0. Displacement types, Kenne Belle is the only one I've found "overhere". Both have advantages and disads, both will kick hp and rwt op by a third. Higher than that ,you have live ability issues.

Thde Superblower is, in effect, a MkIV 5 litre with the addition of a supercharger.  It is manufactured by Powerdyne and badged by Ford Motorsports.

There is a good book written on how to uprate % Litre Ford's that includes a section on Superchargers.  It is called 5.0L Ford Dyno Tests by Richard Holdener ISBN No 1-88408-45-3.  It includes quite a lot of material on the Kenne Bell systems.

I have a powerdyne silent belt drive supercharger fitted to my  modified 302/5.0 litre engine in my MKIV. I believe that this the same type fitted to the superblower series. http://www.powerdyne.com/
Running at just less than 6psi the rolling road confirms 450 BHP at 5650 rpm and 430 ft lbs torque. Up to 9psi is available. Initially the engine suffered considerably from detonation, a new programmable ECU and an intercooler solved the problem.
Show you a picture if you want.

Is anyone familiar with an installation for 5.0 carbureted which fits under the hood?  There are a few kits available for carb cars, but the Mustang kit mounts the compresor pretty high on the engine.

some of the centrifical types offer kits for carburated 302's although they are tougher to find as the family is pre '84 or 85 (FI intro)
