But it is a german company. Now, waiting for the book ...

French Frie

@Nik : no,  few copies are left (but not 289 or 260), and I'll receive the 20/289 one [;)] !

5/289 will be on its way [:D]

French Frie

@Peter : worst of both worlds [:o)] ? I'd prefer a german name on a french girl than the contrary (just kiddin'... even if Angela M is a bit "panzer designed" [:D] !)

French Frie

not the right place, I know, but I suppose the 427 book will follow... it would be great, Trevor, that a real place would be made for the MKIV in this book [;)] (even though I know you already talked about MKIVs in your previous books) !

The book started life as a record of the 50th meeting in Germany last year - and then it grew. Hence the 'delays'.

I am always happy to include the MkIV in the history of the model(s) but you might note I am co-author of this book, so genuine cars only this time!! However, a small beer if you can spot the replica that I snuck in there. Excluding around eight of the Cobras in the Shelby Cup of course :) And a larger beer if you can spot the car that is not in the book (clue: Revival)

French Frie

book received today ! beautiful, in every aspect ...

But that would mean having to remove it from it`s hermitically sealed, temperature & humidity controlled display case! [;)]

nope... haven't read the book yet, but I assume I see A98 in the photo album at the end of the book [;)]

ACs are made for being driven .....  not for sitting in museums
books on ACs are made for being read ...  not for being displayed

   happy motoring [;)][;)]

I can just imagine a future archealogical dig discovering Nik's hermetically sealed motoring library. That should confuse them!

A98 is in there - and was not part of the actual race
