It would make a very nice Christmas present, shame my lottery numbers did not come up.
Lets hope it sells quickly and we can welcome the owner into the Club before to long!

Well hidden on the Boss website.  Let's hope once the production cars are on sale that AC have an up to date website.

Spantik

Seems that the first AC MkVI left or are about to leave factory for the first customers (it's serious), with major delivery in April. Check the website soon, pictures as well as a movie should be updated with the newest series vehicle.

We will surely then see the roll out of the brand AC on a more formal marketing path.

   So to conclude:

Frohi Wienachtä ond äs guäts nöis!
Frohe Weihnachten und ein gutes neues Jahr!
Buon Natale e felice Anno Nuovo!
   Joyeux Noël et bonne année!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Feliz natal e um próspero ano novo!
Feliz navidad y próspero año nuevo!
Kellemes karácsonyi ünnepeket és boldog új évet!
Wesolych Swiat i szczesliwego Nowego Roku!
Prettige kerstdagen en een gelukkig nieuwjaar!
God jul och gott nytt år!
   Glædelig jul og godt nytår!
God Jul og Godt Nytt År!
Veselé Vánoce a š#357;astný Nový rok!

and many happy miles aboard an AC for 2013.

Had a look at the videos... Very interesting.

Love the bit where the presenter on the "AC Mk VI test by Autocar" video at 25 seconds in describes it as a MKIV Cobra.

The car could be described in so many ways, but MKIV wouldn't be one of them.

I like the way Boss Motors approach their business: "Opening Times - appointment only. Alternative times available by appointment". I like the free and easy use of the term "appointment".

As discussed elsewhere, the Mk VI in the DVD is a very early prototype. Spantik will be getting something more like this:

without sidepipes and in midnight blue metallic. Touch wood, tocca ferro!

by the way, what happened to the two Mk V from Malta?

TLegate

There were 3 rhd Mk Vs sold in the UK by Clive Sutton after extensive modifications and possibly as many as 10 built overall.

Autosport Designs were appointed as US Distributor in 2005 and the plan was also to build an Ace Classic model. I believe Gus Meyjes' new build Ace is built from one of two protoypes' chassis.

There's a 2006 Mk V for sale in the US:

I contacted the dealer about the MkII car and posed some questions to him. Was it constructed by Superformance in South Africa, yes. Was it prepared for sale and registration in the UK with a Legal engine and then IVA'd, yes. Was it then badged AC, yes.
But i believe the car advertised was actually sold as i was told there was a wait for one of three to four months.

MK V car or rolling chassis ??
considering what the ad says (on page 6):
   Quote
AC Cars do not sell or supply drivetrains for delivery into the USA. AC products are supplied as complete rolling chassis without engine or transmission. The AC MkV rolling chassis will take a wide range of engines. The selection, purchase and installation of the drive train is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

AC strongly recommend that customers consider installing a Ford 302 or 351 pushrod V-8. Historically, most AC cars have been Ford powered but some clients have been more creative in their selection of a drivetrain.

Rebuilt used engines may be suitable if properly remanufactured although we prefer customers to choose from the Ford range of crate engines. The come complete, they work, they have the power an AC MkV needs. And they are easy to install.

And I quote: "The car has traveled only four miles since leaving the factory."

As a rolling chassis? Who`s their test driver?
