Wow.....HOW!  I put photobucket image/images between codes,  nothing!

AC Ace Bristol

Colin & Ann.

Great to view the 17 pictures detailing progress with the restoration of BEX1000. Thank you for sharing.

Interesting to note 2nd Ace in one of your pictures..[;)] Could this be AE119..[?].

Do you have any pictures of either of these two Ace as purchased  and hopefully from the 1950s/1960s..[?], If so could you post on the Forum or Furnish Tim Isles the ACOC AC Ace Registrar and Tony Bancroft the Ace Bristol registrar to complement what little data / known history of AE119 & BEX1000. is recorded within each respective register [:)]

Last but not least did you sell AE219..[?] If yes, could you please confirm  to Tim Isles to whom and / or where it's new custodian resides.
(appreciate confidentiality, name and Country would suffixe , in order to keep registers upto date)... Thank you..[;)]

   Keith..[:)]

Hi Mark, looking great!
You need to just 'left click' on the box that says "IMG CODE", it should say 'copied', then you paste that into your post, and Hey Presto:

I thought it`s the same Ace, just more work completed?

[edit] Ooops!! Sorry Keith, I just spotted the other Ace on the Trailer! [:I]

Probably a silly greenhorn question: what is the purposes of all these pegs on the metal sheets?

aex125

They are Cleco pins and go through the aluminum into the holes in the tubing. They are spring loaded and hold the panels in place for fit up and then allow for clean riveting when the time comes.
Here is a demo of their use-
