Trevor Legate's old Continuation 427 is still available; the 'creative' advert displaying some unconventional spelling [:o)][:o)][:o)]

It's a pity seeing cars like this permanently languishing at dealers rather than being driven by private owners.

This Cobra 'Continuation' is now on sale at EPA 'European Prestige Automobiles' who are using the same, potentially misleading advert, as the previous dealer 'Private Collections'

    http://www.epaclassics.co.uk/

The car is being advertised as a 1966 Cobra AC Mk111 LHD 'rebuilt and refurbished by AC Cars in early 2000s'. No price quoted, as usual, but previously advertised at £220k.

The facts are rather different. I understand from 'those in the know' that COX 5012's body and chassis were built by AC Cars at Frimley around 2002/03, Steve Gray of Brooklands Motor Company put the body on the frame and the car was completed by Gerry Hawkridge around the end of 2004.

I also understand that dealers selling this car over the past few years have been made fully aware of the facts. So very much a case of 'Caveat Emptor' and insist on a hefty discount if you like the car! [;)]

The 360 Modena is quite cheap with 39T pounds, but I guess buying it is not the expensive thing but driving it [:)]
