Aloha.....Just got all the factory info from Mark IV and my car had "black wheel centers"from the factory......anyone else have different color centers?  Guess it was either special ordered or they just did it to set off the car......

Black wheel centers were standard on a MK IV. Don't know why they are specified on that build sheet. You could have the centers painted other colors for additional cost.

Yes as I said in the other post I have the exact same combo ... my build sheet states spinners and in car audio .. well that answers that question .. who put in a radio you cant hear with it full blast when your driving .......... LOL  and I'm glad to see the HO EFI .. because 1988 HO was the higher HP in the mustang in the US.
   Thanks Ron

I see that the car still has the original tires. Mine also did when I purchased( 1986 #158). I found the goodyears to be slick and unpredictable- switched to bf goodrich kdw- great tire that looks good on the car. front 225/55/16 rear 245/50/16. The car now handles like I hoped it would.

Suggestion to all with the original Goodyears...take them off, take them off NOW, put them in plastic bags and in the mythical "cool, dark place". They are now three steps towards petrification. Plus, they will be an asset years from now. Look at what a Goodyear for a MK III Cobra sells for. They are an investment that is best NOT used. Put on some Dunlops, BFGs or whatever and let the remains of your Luxembourg made gatorbacks rest for another day.

All, I replace mine 1000 miles ago and it was like receiving a new car..steering, traction, smoothnes etc. I did not keep my originals (car had 6900miles), but lesson learned. There old tires areAnti the good driving characteristics of the car at best and dangerous (dry rot and heat problems as well as hardness and sudden adhesion issues) at worst. Jim Ak1113

Gregg,
I have the same exact centers and spinners as you, I do have 2 original Goodyears on 2 extra rims with 500 miles on them, they are tucked away !!

I still have mine on the car at 9k miles on them and the car... Rick your right ,.. the Goodyears are slick ... soon to be removed.
