Need help in identifying this badge.

My Frua had this badge on it's nose, I was told by Jim Feldman it's not original, can someone tell me what it is?

I would guess from the outer edge tooth/ rings treatment and the patina on the flags it's most likely a period "go-faster" bolt on goodie which would have been available in most UK High St. motor accessory shops at the time, but it's certainly not an original item from AC as I've never seen one in some 34 years of following them.
