Saloon Differential number identification ?

Can anyone help with decoding the numbers on the differential of a 2 Litre saloon ?   they are ....
   N O 458
   A C 424 g 41

   I was wondering the same thing! Mine is;
   NO 64
   AC 171
   941
   
   I tried counting the number of cars with ENV axles and then relating it to my chassis number but neither number worked.
   
   Hope someone can shed some light on it.
