Thought some of you would enjoy a shot of 24 of the 30 Cobras that attended our 1000 mile ride on "America's most beautiful roads"

Trevor, You missed a good one this year [;)]

This road was the exception [:I]

Hi Jim

Yeah thanks for ruining my day! You must have forgotten to send my airline tickets!(But last years smaller gathering was more select - and wetter...)

A-Snake

The only rain was at night on the first evening. That provided the opportunity to clear ice off the cover the next morning. (No tops allowed this year) We were in Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. Look up Beartooth Hwy. 10974 feet.

I wonder if a group of Cobras have ever covered a total of 30,000 miles in four days? [;)]

Trevor, Have you seen one of these?

Ah, the yeti of the Cobra world!! So who committed that cardinal sin? A slush-o-matic indeed (he said, praying it ain't your car :-) I assume it was thrown out.

Not only did you have actual sunshine but a nicer badge, dammit....and more scenery. Arrgghhh. Would Tom agree to re-run it? When will Penny be sending me a hi-res CD of snaps?? ;-) And where's my jacket...I'm wearing out last years one!

A-Snake

Not mine but it's an original auto. CSX2579.

We also had pins to match the badge [:D] And new Columbia shirts.

Email me your address again...I may have something for you [;)]

I drove CSX2580, another of the few original factory installed Ford C4 automatic transmission Cobras (now believed to have been one of just 16 Cobras so equipped), about the time Jim et alii were on the tour in the mountains. I was in Washington (state). Sure was strange. I kept trying to push a clutch pedal that wasn't there. Not enough gears either; but the ones it had shifted quickly!

It ain't natural I tell you, and possibly a crime in 49 States.....
