Hi to all.
I have an ac cobra mkiv with wheel nuts instead of spinners and would like to change them. The wheels are standard 16'' and upon trying the spinners i soon realised that the threaded part that the wheels goes through (sorry i do not know the name for it) and the wheel nut locks onto is simply not long enough to support the spinners.........where the threaded parts on the hubs for spinners longer and if so do we know who manufactured them and if they are available.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Either of these two Companies manufacture wheel spinners for MK1V Cobras,  So can confirm why you have a problem and supply the correct spinners or adaptors.... Give either a ring Monday morning.

Gerry Hawkridge supplied me with 15" wheels but I had to have them milled out to allow the spinner to turn within the wheel enough to tighten onto the thread. I think all wheels with spinner had this done.

Bobby is basically correct...but have wheel cut to match angle on spinner  or both cut to match each other, so you have a solid mating surface rather than a shap cutting match up. jim

I have a set of five genuine original Autokraft spinner wheels and Cooper Cobra tyres off my Superblower. Three fronts 7J x 16 with 225/50 (one is unused), two rears 8J x 16 with 255/50.
