Hello!
sorry if this has been already discusse before, and feel free to delete this post and address me to an existing one.
I am quite new here, and couldnt find any reference.

I would like to know wich would be the reccomendation for a CLB engine in term of oil. 30W as per manual, or the current approach is 20W50?
Thanks!!
Edmondo

I would use a good quality 20W50. If your motor is well worn hough, to the point of not long before a rebuild is required, you are probably better with a straight 40.
I might be rough but I'm slow as well.

Thank you Bic col!
i will go 20W50 then, the car should have been rebuilt not too long ago.. will see.
Thanks!

Before you switch to multigrade what type of filter have you. If it is not full flow then you should stick with straight 30s i am told

thank you,
currently there is a GFE 479 filter.
and there is already Motul 20W50, but with a long overdue oil change!
