Would it be useful for the club to have a sound meter to see if members` Cars are too loud for track days etc? Knowing several Cobras fell foul of noise limits last time out. [:(]
Is there already one 'in the system'? If so, please ignore this message!

I have one on eBay at the moment.

All gauges used by our company have to be calibrated, but it says on the calibration certificate that no adjustments were made, and that the reference value of 94dB gave a result of 94.0dB (+/- 0.0dB)
All other levels tested, on all 3 ranges were well within the +/- 1.0dB limits
So yes, just not "official". [:)]

Hi Nik,

I pushed it high but I was a little bit to avaricious [:)]

Bad luck on not being the highest bidder! I didn`t expect it to go quite so high, I must admit.

You could always stick some old socks in the exhaust pipes to kill the noise !![}:)]
