Hello all,
I love the look of the 15" rims, where can I get a set of the rims and spinners (not the big nuts) that AC / Autokraft would of used for the Europe cars.  Basically, I want an extra set of rims IDENTICAL to the blue car listed for sale?

   Any ideas?

   Thanks,

Mark IV

Jan,

Try  http://www.trigowheels.com/original.html  They have what you want. Just tell them you have a Mk IV. Lynn Park who owned Trigo until last week has had Mk Ivs and knows what you need.

Yes, the look with the 15's is the classic look.

cobham cobra

Jan,
Have a look at http://www.hawkcars.co.uk/parts/cobrawheels/cobraalloys.html and also the thread on this forum "15 inch rear tyres for Cobras". One of the UK members, Bruce (C90BY), has recently fitted the 15 inch set with the newly re-issued Avon race tyre, at the end of the thread you will find his feedback.. The UK wheel and tyre cost an equivalent of USD 5,360 so I would expect buying in the US would work out a lot cheaper.
   Cheers - John.

Rick / Cobham,  Thanks, they will probably go on the spring wishlist. I did not know the Trigo's would fit the MKIV, cool.

Rick, a few weeks ago, you mentioned lubing the rear-end on the car, where are all the lubrication points and fittings, do I need any special tools or anything?

Mark IV

Just a regular Zerk gun and some time. There is a fitting on the rear hub upright that is hard to see with the wheels on but can be reached (you reach it from under the car, it is on the top of the bearing hub area). There are fittings on the halfshafts and where the arms pivot you should spray some penetrating oil/WD40 type lube in to prevent the dreaded "Mark IV squeak"......
