Spa Francorchamps future under threat

PITPASS.COM report that the local authorities have suspended the operating licence for the Spa Circuit until 2026 due to noise complaints from a number of 'local NIMBY`S'. Whilst I can sympathise with neighbours during, for example, a 24-hour race weekend, the loss of use of the circuit would not only be a loss to any racing calendar, but have huge economic impact to the area as well.
