I'm taking my car for a friendly track day at Brands Hatch.
Any advice on things to tweak or to watch out for?
E.g. Kenlowe fan setting, leaving the bonnet slightly open so that the heat doesn't accumulate on the clutch and brake reservoirs. I have a Triumph engine...so I'm not too precious about how I treat it. Many thx!

That will be great Reg
I always think the 24 front and 26 rear tyre pressures are too low for road use and definitely too low for the track so you might be able to experiment a bit
I find 28/30 OK for the road and I'll be interested to hear how you get on
Have a good day

Status report please!

Did you do your track day, who was it with and how did you get on?

Ah...it was raining - not pouring but a light greasy, slippery rain. They cancelled the noise tests so I was too tempted to play it safe with my noisy GT3 RS....(Gen 1 manual, analog though). Next time when it's dry it will be the AC's turn.

Hi Reg (is it?)

Just out of curiosity what Triumph engine are using as I am using a Triumph 6 engine as well, be interested in your setup ie carbs etc, is it tuned.

I see you went to Brands are you in that area.

Gary
A car is only original once, but, you can modify it as many times as you like.

My car my rules.

Hi - I have twin SU's - std setup / no special tuning - but plenty of fun as it is.
