Engine-mounted cooling fans

Greetings, gentlemen. When SAI first delivered the small-block Cobras, many,if not all, were equipped with a small fan attached to the waterpump for running-in cooling. These fans have been difficult to source, as no standard Ford vehicle has been found that was equipped with the same fan (the famous Falcon fan is not the same). However, photos of AC 428s, AC 289s and Fruas, when they were new, show a fan which resembles the Cobra fan. If anyone has an original fan, it would be great if they could measure it and describe it(even better, post photos)  so we can see if they are, indeed, the same. My theory is that Ford supplied these fans on "contract" engines sold to ouside manufacturers like SAI or AC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
