Can anyone please help with advice on the run of the fuel pipe from the pump in the boot to the fuel filter, which is on the near side inner wing on my car? Should the pipe run along the chassis tube, inside the transmission tunnel, or the near side under the pasenger door? Where it emerges into the engine bay how is it routed and fastened before it reaches the filter?

AC Ace Bristol

Hi #AE413

On my Ace Bristol the fuel line has always been secured to the Chassis rail and was ticked up in the tunnel,  This was removed earlier this year and replaced with a High pressure 8mm od 6mm id copper pipe with flexible hoses at either end,

Just make sure the pipe is secured at regular intervals and is safely out of harms way,  Caution old rubber pipe can collapse inside and should be replaced to give full flow and ensure no debris is caught inside. Not sure if this answers your question but BEX333 is all numbers matching and very much as itr left Thames Ditton bar the Change of colour from white to black.
