Longstone Tyres have commissioned Pirelli to make a 205 x 15 Cinturato HS tyre which they state is the most suitable for the Frua.

I have Avon Turbospeeds fitted but will need to replace soon. Has anyone tried the Cinturato's?

I think 205 is way too skinny for a car with such performance. 215/70 X 15 is more like it. I would recommend Avon over Pirelli any day or Michelin XWX which were the fitment for most performance cars in the late 60s and 70s. They still make them today with modern rubber, but be ready to pay! Of course, the best tire of the Frua is the "Avon CR6 ZZ" which is available in 215/70 X 15. It is a street legal radial racing tire which looks period and is used for the street or vintage racing for cars from XK120s to early Porsche 911s. With these on, the car drives like a modern car. But they are pricey as well. By the way, it is by far the best tire for Cobras of all vintage and they make a wide array of sizes.
