   I'll have another go later on at the resolution of the text which obviously isn't too brilliant also I'm still learning how my new scanner works. I think it might be draining the memory too quickly and therefore losing clarity ?
   
   Incidentally I'm pretty certain this is CF 1 as per the text and from memory. [:)]

Motor Sport Article. Also published in December 1966 so it's almost certainly LPH 800 D as well.
   
   Note the initials DSJ ("Jenks" or Dennis Jenkinson) in the bottom right hand corner who worked for Motor Sport at the time.  He also navigated Stirling Moss to victory in the Mille Miglia a few years earlier in a Mercedes Benz.

Yes, 'Jenks' was always a riveting read, I enjoyed his recounting his continental journeys following the racing, and his experiences in his Jaguar 'E' staff cars,a true enthusiast indeed!
