Hi guys, does anybody know where I could locate a stub axle carrying nut for the Frua rear differential?  It's pretty worn out.

   Stub axle retaining nuts Salisbury.

   Id 33.36 mm.  1.31 std
   Thick 7.12 mm.   .280 std
   Nut 1.861 std 47.27mm

Here are 2 pictures, one of the axle and nut and one of the nut alone.

Emmanuel, that is an interesting photo' as it shews the later single piece Inner Drive Shaft. I wonder if that is original or has it been uprated at some time ? In any event you will likely get your replacement nut here:

Either way you are in the fortunate position of having a set up that can make use of the later, stronger, components and it may be that you can find the nut easily, nearer home, via a Jaguar spares supplier.

Thank you for the contact, I have made a call to a Jag recycler and I am told the early  XJs'  May have the same nut. The man is checking for me. I think the single piece axle is stock on the  Frua because my friend Jeffrey's earlier car is also set up the same way.  It looks like the Mark IV uses a similar set up.    The Frua is heavier than a Cobra and AC probably felt the spline stub axles were not strong enough for this car.
