The time has come to move onto something with 4 seats so that the entire family can enjoy it.

The noise alone should sell it!

hi Bruce,
   you will miss the Cobra....

Hope you'll replace it by an AC though... want to keep you around with the Club.

I guess the Hurst shifter is not factory original.

   Cheers

Hi Peter, Constant

Yes, it does sound great, and yes, I will miss it, but it's spending too much time parked in the garage - someone else will get better use out of it over the next few years than me.

Don't worry, I'll still be in the club, plus I've already committed to organising the Sprint in November.  Who knows, the right Greyhound may come up for sale!

Yes, the hurst shifter was retro-fitted by the last owner, the original is in a box in my garage.

   Hi Bruce,

three years ago I had similar ideas. It ended with buying an Aceca. Now, I have four seats but with the drawback (?) that it needs two drivers.

If you want to start with a non-original engine Greyhound, here it is:

   Greyhound at "Interesting Cars".

That is a beautiful car.

I may be late, but a Greyhound with non-original engine for k£33 is a bit pricey, isn't it ? At least, a good  opportunity to fit a Ford V8, huh, Peter [;)] ?

Hi Peter,

Yes, a Greyhound is my preferred solution.  I did see Triumph-engined car when it appeared online, but I'd prefer a Bristol-engined car...
