If this car (CSX 2433) is anything like CSX 3360 that Bruce Canepa owns and restored then it must be an amazing car.  Please see topic covering CSX 3360 below:

I believe that both Gus and I saw Bruce Canepa race CSX 2433 at the Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca this past August.  Bruce mentions racing this car at Laguna Seca in his ad.  His collector car showroom and restoration facilities in Scotts Valley, CA (near Santa Cruz and south of San Francisco) are first rate and he has some of the finest cars I have ever seen and his restoration shop is amazing.  I would recommend Canepa Design as a possible stop should the International take place here in California.  It is not all that far from the Monterey peninsula.  I enjoyed meeting Bruce when my Mk IV was parked next to his CSX 3360 at the Danville D'Elegance.

Canepa has "meticulously returned (2433) to its original competition configuration."

Schott's configuration was dark blue, wire wheels, small windscreen, full-width removable roll bar and chin spoiler (SAAC Register). Perkins' configuration was similar, with the car in metallic burgundy.

Where, I wonder, does Canepa's 'original competition configuration' information come from?

SunDude

Sorry, but CSX2433 is not black.

Perhaps from the person that configured the present CSX2001 ;-)

Black or Blue, either way it does look very nice ! [:)]

I do not understand why it is advertised as a 1964 Ford Shelby Mustang Convertible !!
