hello,

since I owned AK1113, the fan is cutting in too early, at about 60/65°C, and stays on, keeping the temp around 85/90°c...

not a big deal, but when weather is cold and/or rainy, it makes the temp staying too low (last time on a very rainy trip, it stayed below 70°C !)...

I suspect the thermoswitch is faulty, as the gauge reading seems accurate, so I want to replace it... but have no idea of its origin ! it's a round one, with an o-ring, and it is pushed in the radiator (driver's side) and maintained by a 1/4 turn plastic ring, with two ears...

does anyone know where it comes from ?

   thanks !

hello Olivier,

Are you sure about the temp readings? Have you verified the actual temp by measuring via temp gun?

Hi Constant,
no, I didn't (no temp gun available), but I assume the reading is quite accurate, as it stabilizes around 90°c when hot, and has a "logical" needle travel... I also grounded the connector, and had a full deviation.
