I am aware that this subject has been covered in the past but it relates to Aceca door lock mechanism. I am reliably informed that they are as were fitted to the MGA Coupe
I have tried the specialists such as Moss and Brown and Gammon with no success, perhaps someone out there could point me in the right direction of where I could further my search or perhaps they were fitted to another type of car ?
   Any suggestions !

Please let me know what you find out!  I am in major need of a left hand door locking mechanism.
   Thanks!

We have retro fitted alternative door lock mechanisms in the past as the originals do wear out and make it very hard to set up and get them to click in tight especially with new furflex or other sealing. I do not know of any one making originals new and we have found buying second hand can leave you in the same position.

what door locks did you use in the retro fit. I have a friend in Zimbabwe whose locks are past their best and needs to source an alternative
