thanks jim i did find them a little loose and that could also have contributed. where i live we dont have the luxury of being able to get aircraft quality fasteners!!

From Sports Car Illustrated, Aug 1959, Play Your Ace, Kenn Rudd's VPL442 race car came with rear camber of 2 degrees negative (on paper). To increase driftability, he lengthened the rear leaf spring and added a leaf. No mention of how much he lengthened the spring.
