I have recently had my Superblower 302 engine upgraded to 331 cubic inch after rebuild, high flow alloy heads, pistons 40 thousand over size and Stroker crank which has increased overall capacity to 331 cubic inch or 5.425 Litre by Mass Racing and Motec ECU, new ignition, coil, fuel pump etc. sensors and wiring harnesses by Steve Hurst, GWR Motorsport, Swindon.

Mass Racing & GWR Motorsport both excelled themselves in acheiving my objects of improved torque and smoother progressive delivery. It previously delivered 370BHP and now well over 400BHP but with unbelievable torque with continual smooth and progressive delivery all the way through it's range.

So I now have a box of OEM spare parts, wiring etc. including my old ECU for an AC Superblower owner.

Hi Malcolm

Curious if you did anything in the rebuild about Air Charge Temperature? Ive also had a rebuild after a piston cracked at the Goodwood Sprint a few years ago, and did not increase the capacity but did many of the other mods you would expect including a new Syvecs ECU. The tuner noted very high intake temps and suggested an intercooler or possibly water/methanol injection which would be much easier to fit given the engine layout. The gain is estimated at about 50hp if I can reduce the temps apparently.
