I race my ACECA and am rebuilding the engine.  The expected HP will be around 150.  I see no reason to keep my OD installed as I don't use it and it is very heavy.  Does anyone have any info on what to do to accomplish this?

   Thanks very much!

Just re-fit the standard tail-shaft. If I knew how to upload a picture I'd do so but if you send me your e-mail address I'll send you a picture of 'before and after' and a source for a tail-shaft if you need one.

On behalf of Tim here is the 'before and after' picture Tim refers to.

Thanks very much!  I assume you will need a stock drive shaft as well to adjust to the different gap.  I would like to have the contact for the tail shaft if possible.

Ron Leonard or Jim Feldman might be able to help you in USA,  In the UK there are a few people/ Company's that might have a Spare tailpiece.

Might be worth e mailing Ben Yates on :-

As he makes up and regularly supplies and often fits Overdrive units to Aces & Acecas,  Therefor he should know who in UK & Europe has recently carried out conversion, Hence could have a tailpiece surplus to requirement.

Does anyone know what the weight difference is with and without the OD?  Also, does anyone have any specs on the "J - competition O/D"?
   Thanks!
