I want to buy a AC - Your help is needed.

Hello all,
   
   I'm new here and also in the Cobra world.
   
   I have the opportunity to buy a AC Cobra 427 from a friend.
   Since I don't know a lot of these cars (yet) I would like to ask to give me some feedback of this car.
   
   I made some photo's of the car which you can find here:

   What is told to me of the car:
   
   -It is build in 1973
   -The engine is a real Cobra V8
   -The chassis should be made by AC, but I don't think so...
   -There are original papers with the car, although I did not see them yet.

Hi,
   
   the pictures you posted show a Cobra Kit-Car with a Ford engine and Cobra valve covers (standard equipment). The car has a GRP body. The car has nothing to do with AC or Shelby.
   
   You shouldn't pay much money for that if it drives good. If it drives bad you shouldn't buy it.

Oeps, I re-read my first post and came to the conclusion that I forgot to mention that it is a replica... sorry.
   @dkp_cobra: I know it is a kit car.
   The engine is a 7.0L V8.

You may also want to post your question on http://www.cobraclub.com/ they are The Cobra Replica Club and will have far more knowledge and experience of replicas, especially if you know the manufacturer of the car you are researching.
