Starter sylenoid mkiv

Where is the starter sylenoid located on mkiv cobras?

It ought to be on the starter so I would check there first.  If it's not there then it could be remote so look in area near battery.

Thanks for the replies, I found the starter sylenoid it is in the compartment in front of the passenger foot box that has the fuses-to access you need to remove battery and plate that the battery sits on-can't reach from inside car

Are you sure thats not the relay rather than the solenoid? My car (CRS) has the solenoid on the starter and the realays in the passenger footbox.

I am pretty sure the solenoid was in the footbox on my early MKIV.

Thanks for reply's I could not see any sylenoid on the starter -it was in the foot box

AK 1106 also has the solenoid in the footbox electric compartment.
