Now Covid is not threatening all events we are going to have a National Day this year at the Weald & Downland Museum on the day following the Sprint, ie Sunday 12th September. Not a weekend organised do as in the last few years as so much uncertainty has surrounded the organisation of events but at least we do have a day and a venue to meet up at long last! One legacy of Covid is that we are required to prebook admittance to the Museum but we do have a reduced rate! £12.50 for under 60 and £10.60 for over 60 and £4.40 for children. Full details have been published in the July edition of ACtion and the ad is repeated in the August edition (currently going to press). We have a dedicated parking area away from the public car park and next to the exhibits and on site is a modern cafe with plenty of seating. It would be nice to see you!

Hi Bob

Shame it is the day after the sprint, not going to be able to do 2 days back and forth. Maybe next year.

A car is only original once, but, you can modify it as many times as you like.

My car my rules.

Bob

Congratulations for organising a ACOC National Day at such short notice and during the   ever changing  situation with Covid-19 pandemic...
Really good to learn you have received  34 applications already,  The First ACOC National -  ACOC Social meeting in 18 /19 months.........  :)
See you all at the National Day and some of you at the ACOC GoodWood Sprint the day before.
Drive Safe.

What a fabulous day the National meeting was and it was good to catch up with people I hadn't seen since 2019. The venue was perfect for me as it was close to home but it was also a fascinating museum. Congratulations Bob. Apparently the sound effects in this video were of a Spitfire - two for the price of one (did Bob organise that as well...)

Bob has contacts you didn't know exist........
Seriously..  ..  ..    Well done Bob, Great Venue, superb weather and so good to meet , socialise  and Catch up on news with many Friends we haven't seen for 20 months or more. :)
Bonus..... Having recently moved from Northamptonshire to North Devon, I met up with a couple of  New members Tim & Kate Hatcher (  owners of a ME3000 ) at The ACOC GoodWood Sprint who then joined the National Day. Before travelling back to North Devon.   A small world within 10 minutes drive form my new address.
As Tim is Chairman of  the North Devon Sports and Classic Car Club, opens doors for ACOC members to meet for a local get together.....  Will follow up and confirm details with Terry Webb for publishing in future ACtion.

Well Done Bob a great Day with great Company . Thank you for organising a great event  ;)
