AK1063 a 1985 MKIV is making an appearance on ebay. Looks in nice order and very reasonably priced.

Note that the steering column has been modded to the VW turn switch and the "AC" pedals added. Why do people feel the need to list an "AC" as a "Shelby"?????

REV

I think they call it "The power of marketing", and Mr. Shelby sure did a very good job. Your average American just doesn't feel they have the complete article unless it says "Shelby" on the tin!

Still as Marion Robert Morrison would tell you a name is important, and an image is everything!

Unfortunately, there is no "AC" category on eBay Motors, so I guess it`s more likely to be spotted in "Shelby" than in "OTHER MAKES". [V]

Is it just me, or does the change of steering column, without altering the dash, make the gauge spacing look all wrong?

Great reference, Mr AK... I think the best example I could have come up with is this one:

Big Daddy, aka Shirley Crabtree!(But who was Kendo Nagasaki?!)

REV

Kendo Nagasaki........

The masked warrior of the wrestling scene..... I remember him well......

It was a mystery for years, but I now know......

But I'm afraid that if I told you I'd have to kill you.......
so be afraid...... be very afraid!

Oh God!
They say you should never meet your Heroes....
   I can see why...

   'Jumping bean'? Eeewww!!!

REV

Jumping Beans........ Turkeys love em!!!!!!

   Dogs like em to!!!!!!!

I'm concerned about the type of internet search that you indulge in 1023. Anything you care to talk to me about??? My costs are very reasonable and I've helped a lot of lost souls :-)

Do you suppose the dog smokes cigars?

Many more modifications done, see detail description on e-bay.

I just find it very concerning how Hilary's holding the poor creature down!!!! [8D]

With regard to the Mods, I really think that its not a bad car at all & a great place from which to start. It looks in really nice overall condition....  The dash has gotta go though!

1063 was NOT delivered via "The Fine Car Store", I never ran a car trough them. I noticed this error in the Shelby Registry (along with MANY others). I will look up the original owner but it certainly was on the East coast. I sold three MK IVs into California and none were red.
