Can anyone enlighten me as to the brake pads used on the early Superblowers. The early SB's were effectively MK IV's that were uprated. The car I have been asked about is the first AC produced car fitted with a supercharger - 1997. Mine (1999) is fitted with AP Racing brakes but were these fitted to early SB's or indeed MK IV's per se. Thanks in anticipation of your enlightenment.

I also need front brake pads.  I understand they are 1980's BMW but don't know the year or model BMW. Please help. Thanks.

According to Peter (aka dkp_cobra) the front disc brakes should be BMW E23 from years 03.77 - 07.86. The original part number from ATE is 13.0460-9031.2

Hello Ian, If your car has AP front brakes they are the same as the CRS. These are quite unique and feature special thickness discs. A high quality road performance pad can be purchased from EBC brakes in Northampton. I have them on my CRS as do other CRS owners. Please e-mail me and I can find you all the information you need
