MK1v Door hinges

any one know where the door hinges originally  came from or did Autokraft make them mine are getting a bit sloppy regards Baz

Door hinges are fabricated, massive steel parts and not from other production cars. First check the door bolts / pivot pins. You need to remove the covers between door and instrument panel kept by 2 screws.  One small screw is on the top of the cover visible from below, the other one is covered by the carpet below the door hinge.
