A friend directed me to the web site www.coldplugs.com  It has a picture of my father with the Ace staging for the Mount Washington hillclimb in 1962.

   For members not in the Northeast USA, Mount Washington is about 6000 ft elevation and at least part of the road is gravel.  The Ace took second that day.
   
   The rest of the web site has many period pictures at the two local tracks, Lime Rock and Thompson.
