The 70th Anniversary of ACOC / 2019 ACOC International at Chateau Impney  starts on the 22nd July 2019 and finishes Friday morning 26th July,
As we already  have 51 rooms booked with at least 9 cars from mainland Europe,  Worth pushing  Silverstone Classic extra hard and we could get a large number of members / cars to Join over the weekend as an extension of the 70th Anniversary/ ACOC 2019 International.  ;)

Dates for Silverstone Classic 2019 have now been confirmed for the weekend of 26-28 July! The date had already been announced but remained 'provisional' until Formula One's governing body, the FIA, formally ratified its 2019 calendar at yesterday's meeting of its World Motor Sport Council in St Petersburg. This means that the Classic will take place two weeks after the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and the dates fall perfectly into the start of the school summer holiday.

So far Silverstone Classic has announced brand new single-seater celebration as historic Formula One, Formula Two and Formula Three will all race at the Classic. Other grids confirmed include the the HGPCA (Historic Grand Prix Cars Association) for Pre-1966 Grand Prix Cars, the Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy for Historic Cars (pre-63 GT), Masters Endurance Legends, the Yokohama Trophy for FIA Masters Historic Sportscars and the Transatlantic Touring Car Trophy with more exciting news to follow in the new year. Full details of the on- and off-track family entertainment will be announced in the coming months!

If you haven't got your tickets yet, with Christmas on the way and tickets still at our Super Early Bird prices there's literally no better time to buy.

A reminder that the early bird tickets will only be available until end of March then the price increases. Please go onto the Silverstone Classic website to see the latest updates including the races and on which days as well as the live bands which will entertaining during the day and night.

Thank you for organising the ACOC stand at Silverstone Classic.

It made a great extension to The ACOC 70th International Rally, With the added bonus of driving a parade Lap of the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit.

Surprised me that the opportunity was only taken up by 9 or so members, Well done to those who did attend, especially Constant Wagner and Sylve who extended their return to Luxembourg,  Mind you He is both a ACOC enthusiast and a Racer at heart, so no real surprise.

The international was hot and Sunny all week, well done Michael, Malcolm and Sarah, where as Silverstone has its own Micro Climate, same as GoodWood,
both being old Airfields could well be a common denominator.  Maybe next year David could have a few words with Him upstairs .

Despite the weather a Great couple of days was had by us all , including my passenger Trevor Legate whom was coaxed  into wet BEX333 for a tour of a very wet Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit on Saturday.

Well Done..  ..   David.

A  Big Thank You from.    Paul & Jacqui Eaton, Bob Langley & Sue Hopkins ,Constant Wagner & Sylve  and Yours Truly

I can only join Keith's statements and say many thanks to David for having organized this event and managed to get us a lap on Silverstone's F1 circuit.

Despite the rain, we enjoyed it very much, had seen very good racing on a very wet track, met friends and made new ones. Silverstone was worth the detour from our route from Château Impney to home.
Many thanks to David Skittles for braving the rain to get us all sorted and supplied with the correct wristlets for the lap.
