Hi everyone, new member? can anyone tell where to get spares (in the UK) for the 4 port Holley Carbs manuals gaskets, repair kits etc, rarther than go to the states

I'm in the US ... if you need a rebuild kit ... post the numbers on the carb and we can arrange for me to pick one up at the local auto store and send it to you.  The make some new blue gaskets the enable you to take the carb apart repeadely and not have to replace gaskets like the old days.  I just rebuilt mine my detomaso and it runs great.  You might also need a couple different power valves ..as the 65 that came with the kit had to be changed to a 55 because the car would not idle.   A vacumn guage can tell you that.  Or tell me what carb vacumn you have at 1500 rpm and go 2 steps down and thats the power vlave you need.  Also jetting is a factor ??

For general Holley carb repair parts you can try John Woolfe Racing at Bedford 01234-220700 or US Automotive at Bedford 01234-273155. You will need the carburettors "list" number to order spares. To find this remove the air cleaner and look on the front of the carbs air horn casting, the vertical part that would sit inside the air cleaner base. On this is stamped a series of number and letters, this should be the information you need.
