It's a while since I bought an old car mag but picked up the August issue of Classic Cars for the article on ME117. 

Quentin Wilson's piece on page 37 really shocked me - worth checking out.

Thanks for the tip, though it took me an age to find the magazine you refer to as there are several magazines sold in Europe with similar titles.
Its called Thoroughbred & Classic Cars outside UK.
