The Hales - Piper topic is a real can of worms and has the potential to affect many areas of the classic car hobby / sport. How many "star" drivers will be willing to race great cars on a "you bend it, you fix it" basis?
   The topic is well discussed on the following links and there's a donate button if anyone wants to help Mark Hales. I've met Mark, he's a nice chap, I enjoy his writing and he's a talented driver and doesn't deserve this.
