Hi all just found this forum looking for information on Aceca's. I used to work at the Brooklands factory involved in the two Ford MK IV's and the drophead Rolls-Royce Clouds back in the late 80's. I had a blast working there such a great team and wonderful cars that came out of there! and having Safir next door was a wonderful experience for me as a fan of the GT 40, watching Jim Rose fabricate a chassis from nothing was awe inspiring for a young mechanic! anyway I now have my own restoration shop in N.California and am currently finishing off an Aceca project so will check back in with some questions later!

PS is it possable to upload pictures to this site? as I have a few of the MKIV''s under rebuild that might be of interest?

I suspect that you ought to post them under the MKIV section as of most interest there.

Thanks Graham, the MKIV I speak of were not the Cobra's but Two GT40 Aluminium racecars that were restored by Brian so not strictly AC related but done inside the Brooklands factory............
