Help What is it called and where can I find a pair, mine are somewhat buggered and would like some new ones, but not sure what you would call them?

It is the part that is rivetted to the bonnet and slides into the centre chrome strip thereby making a hinge.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers to all you knowledgeable chaps.

A car is only original once, but, you can modify it as many times as you like.

Hi ya,

Yes saw that, it is always a good source of info. Did not help much.

Anyway, I think i have found it at https://www.completeautomobilist.com/products/16632-fl-folded-side-strip-flange.

You should try to explaining to someone on the phone what you are looking for especially after you have told them its for a 2 litre AC saloon!

So I am going measure up my rather shot hinge, whoops 'folded side strip flange' just to make sure its the right size.

Cheers anyway.
